Though if you re experiencing rapid or persistent weight gain it s best to speak. Once your body realizes you aren t pregnant your hormone levels change again. This will prevent your body from conserving fluids.
Weight gain during your period isn t as common as weight gain before your period. While if you are underweight or very overweight and not menstruating gaining weight or losing weight will likely restart your regular period. For example if you are starting at a normal weight gaining or losing weight may cause you to skip your period.
When does period weight gain go away. Meaning if you stay on top of your plan you can see a little added weight loss. While many people don t notice any bloating or weight gain at all others might gain as much as 5 pounds.
